What would happen if you had no head gasket, just put the head on top of the block with no head gasket???
would it just not work, piston hit valves. . . lets say on a stock b16
i'm curious if anyone has done this before. . . .would the motor blow up? just not work, **** melt?!? what what what?
and im sure there are going to be people tellin me this is a stupid question, well im not all that mechanically inclined, so this is a step towards being one

There are also liquid gaskets strong enough to work as a headgasket.
From what I have been told, they grip so hard you need a prybar to get the head off of the block afterwards.
