Broken exhaust on 89 Civic LX
If you're familiar with how the exhaust is plumbed on the 89 Civic, the muffler is mounted in parallel with the rear axles, and the last pipe segment comes out, bends rearward, and comes to the bumper. Well, THAT part broke off from rust at the bumper. Yes, it sounds cooler now, yes, there's marginally less back pressure, but I need the pipe sticking out for upcoming emissions tests. Any clue where I can get this replaced cheap? I was thinking of getting some 2 or 3" electrical conduit from Home Depot and having a muffler shop weld it on for me. Would they charge me 10 bucks or what?
How can I fix this CHEAPLY?
Thx

Perhaps I should mention that it broke off right at the end of the muffler, so the piece that I DON'T HAVE bends there, then goes back to the end of the bumper. Now, will a muffler shop have a piece like this?

most muffler shops can do this easily, its called u-bends. or maybe they can custom bend it for you.
dont worry even midas can do this kind of thing,

They better do it cheap. I'm unemployed, about to dip into my savings, and I need the pipe ready for emissions next month *sigh* another waste of money. At least my exhaust sounds cool right now
