How much are you selling these for??
For the front did you just triangulate off of the original bar then paint it?
Anyway...thats awesome

for the front bar if where the "addition" has been made to attach to the firewall is hallow tubing, i cant see much use in bolting that thing into the firewall,
also, what grade steel/thickness was used for the front bar?
it looks interesting never the less.

Feel free to Pm me or Spoondc2r for pricing and specific details.
The only part of the original bar that is used is the end brackets themselves. A new 1" steel is used for the main span and the other pieces.

Yes it is hollow tubing... solid would weigh about 25 times as much. It wouldn't be nearly as rigid without the addition of a third mounting point. This mouting location is pretty similar to others on the market that are pretty popular/effective... Carbing, Benen, Rigid...
it's 1" square .095 wall thickness steel tubing

also that ITR towerstrut with the extra things.. nice</TD></TR></TABLE>
It's pretty damn stiff!
As of now we aren't selling them but will down the road, trying to get a bunch of the front and rear setups ready to ship for now!
For any Type R owner that is interested in just the actual solid steel piece with hardware and already has their stock strut bar ends be sure to let us know that and we can do a better price for ya.
Thanks for the compliments guys!

you know, cause there is a lot of deflection between the suspension towers and the rear hatch wall.

actually we have moved the mounts to the floor instead of the truck wall. plus, why would type r's come stock with a trunk wall bar if honda didn't think it would do anything?

because jdm tegs does not have bumper supports, but on usdm tegs the bumper support on the rear will do a better job than the small piece on the trunk. (they are located on the same spot, just different sides)

they do have bumper supports, just a **** load smaller than the usdm ones. my usdm type r came with the small bar, we just moved it to the truck floor where the two 17mm bolts are. for example; my jdm front end has a small bar, cna't be more than 1 inch high and a 1/2 inch wide as the bumper support. the usdm one is probably 20 or 30 times bigger and heavier than the jdm one.
edit: it think it would be a "JDM jungle GYM" not jim like the name

jdm R have them in the front, the rest does not.
i know for a fact they don't have them in the rears,(bumper support) cause mine never had one and had to add one before i cleared dot.
in fact i had to drill an extra hole just to bolt the rear bumper support.
even by your statement, they are not as thick. well like i said, the usdm bumper support will do a better job than the factory trunk wall bar.

i wasn't too sure on the rear support, thanks for the clarification. but why did the usdm R come with the truck brace if they didn't need it?

you see, that is why we tied the strut braces into the rear bar. we figured it honda put it there, it must be there for a reason, you know? the new bar we made is way stiffer. it is an x-brace instead of a z-brace and it mounts to the floor instead of the rear wall.

yeah i gotcha on that one. you would need to remove the carpet and **** and make it less a street car and more of a track car. wasn't no carpet an option in japan for the R's?
