Default Need Some help, Problem with 5g lude

Started my car up and heard a weird noise. Didn't sound too bad until I started accelerating.

My exhaust sounded like I had a cam (much like a domestic, just not same tone).

The Check engine light flashes (on/off). The exhaust smells realllly rich.

and it feels as if the engine/exhaust is shaking when I accelerate.

If anyone has any ideas on what is going on, please post.

Thanks.

sounds like you bent or burnt a valve.... When its at like 1k or lower does it go ...lump , lump , lump? Have you over revved or running some kind of f/i? I stuffed mine into 1st at 80mph and it did the same thing...car would sound funny and cel was flashing...was 6 bent valves.....

Also check for bad spark plugs.

will be checking the spark plugs today,

doubting the bent valves because I don't beat on it too much, and know where the gears end (mph wise) so I don't run into that problem.

thanks for the help guys.
