OK kids here's whats up. I'm coming east in a couple of weeks to kick your asses. I'm not even going to be nice about it. Joe Alaniz and I are towing out there with my WCHC H1 Championship winning CRX. You know the one. It's Gold, with a big #1 on the side. The car finished every race last year, while winning 7 out of 16 races. This was with the little B16A that wouldn't quit. It put down a best of 168 HP on the dynojet at Buttonwillow Raceway. So you know the thing handles. But that's what you get when you drive the same car for 11 years, with the last 5 years being a dedicated trailered race car. The other night the motor was tuned with the new ESM/JG header by Shawn Church and Derek Stevens (co-owner of Hondata). It put down 190 HP on the dynapack. So do you really think you can beat that? I don't but Joe's not sure. So this week he is assembling one of his LS/VTECs. The sister motor put down 230 HP, and 145 ft/lbs for over 2000 very usable RPMs. That motor goes in next weekend and the B16 is coming as a back up. How do you feel about that? Don't feel bad. You were out gunned from the start.
My only problem is that its going to be too easy. You see I really wanted a magazine to come out to document the slaughter. I've got a good one lined up but they're on the fence. They don't think having me smoke all of you novice drivers will make much of a story. They're also not interested in wasting space with pictures of your ugly, ill prepared, wannabe WCHC race cars. So if you think you actually have a chance at beating me, or you have a car that might be capable of staying on the same lap as me, nows the time to speak up. The magazines just might be looking at this thread for the next day or so . Oh, and if you dare reply to this, you may want to include a pic of your racecar and a few reasons why you are bothering to show up. ahem, could someone post a pic of my rex? I still don't know how to do that yet. Maybe some pics of the other WCHC all stars making the trip, Derek Stevens, Ryan Flaherty, Kiwi, and Bota. Oh maybe not Flaherty though. Everybody hates him for screwing up the rules and that booty POS car won't be getting us in any magazines.

Indeed. Andy, I do hope you keep to your plan of touring the East Coast too on your venture out this way. Not that a trip to Mid-O won't be awesome in itself (I've never been but one day .... ) but sure do hope a few of you guys from the WC get the opportunity to take at least some laps at RA while you are that far out this way.

There is some truth to that. Said magazine guy (Your's T.) still needs to convince an editor that there will be enough cars on the grid to justify a story.
