HELP. Axels splines don't match brake rotors
We have just about finished up on swapping a B16A1 Y1 Cable Transmission into my son's 91 Civic Hatch. The motors in it runs, idles good, other than a small water and oil leak everything up to this point has been ok. Am trying to install the axels that came with the motor but the spline will not fit into the brake rotors.
The spline seems to be larger than what the brake rotors are. What do we do, can anyone help with this problem? Other than match up the shift linkage, and a few small other items on a punch list, looks like it will be ready to roll soon.
Thanks,
flaco loco

P.S. after the engine warmed up anf the raditor fan came on I got a check engine
light. We did not put the second fan back into the car because we are not using the a/c. could this be why the engine light is on.

knucles are what your axles/calipers are mounted on. They connect to upper arm on top on and to the tie rod end and lca on bottom. you need hubs from the 90-93 integra. These will fit your existing knuckles. I think 91 ex knuckles have lager rotor/caliper. Get these if possible.
What code you got?

I have an STD, LOL sounds funny
Anyways i ran into the same problem with the axles not fitting the stock knuckles
But its cool it just means u get to upgrade ur front brakes,at least i did. I went and got 90-93 DA integra front brakes, easy bolt on and bigger rotors = better stopping
I found a pair for $50
