Are you throwing any codes? Most of the times the problems with a boucy tach is the ignitor. I had the same problem, but it turned out my timing was off horribly.

lift up the passenger side foot are carpet. you should see a gold plate with a circle window. thats the led that flashes to tell you some diagnostic codes.
to check codes look at your ecu... when you start up the car it should like blink once or twice or something to acknowledge that it is working and then it will blink a certain number of times and that will tell you what the probelm is just look at the manual to figure out what the code means.
well unfortuantely i dont have a manual but ill try that brb tell me some other thingws that might help
ok it blicked once for the start up then after about a minute it blinked twice when the car died thats it that and it was blicking like really fast when i was starteing the car what do you think
its the coil or ignitor in the dizzy. most likely wont get a code. change the coil. If you take the distributor cap off the coil is the big black one and the ignitor is the small white or brown one.
it has an external msd blaster coil and the ignitiong system is virtually new but the ignitor i dunno how do i check if its working properly
my autometer tach said that if it was bouncy it was due to a bad ground...so that could be the cause..u might wanna check that out for the tach...the other stuff sounds like a dizzy problem to me
Check grounds, then check to see if rotor button is screwed down, then test the ignitor.
Sounds like an ignitor problem, rotor button spinning freely, or your crank/cyl sensor is bad. That or your spark plug wires are in the wrong spots.
