Default D15 for free with 155kmi. WHat would you do with it?

My friend is swapping a b16 and he has a stock d15 he is yanking out and givin it to me, i figured for the winter i could rebuild it and have some fun with maybe some boost, and then replace my d16z6 in the spring. Is it worth the time and money to do seeing as how the engine is free. I want some opinions so lemme know!

just have a little fun, my friend took an old D block and used honda oem parts and built a high compression d with a little bit of headwork. he revs to 9.5 grand daily and keeps up with modified gsr's. its a fun little car.

If its free and you got spare time take it appart and put it back together. Makes for a great learning experience. Or build it if you have the funds.

I'm not positive but I think theyre the pistons outta the d16a6, whatever piston code those have. hes running around an 11.5/1 c.r. and its his daily driver. and when i say modified gsr, i mean i/h/e gsr, nothin major.

yeah BOOST......tear it down replace all the seals and gaskets then make a turbo kit for it..........D15's are strong for turbo setups....

it is cheap if you know how to do it.....full turbo setup with everything under $600.....just peice one together then you make the flanges and down pipes and charge pipes....its alot easier tahn it looks ive done a few

b16a might be too big for go-cart, ive always wanted to put a turbo 600 motor from a cbr on a gocart though.......do nitrous and turbo on the d15 see how fast it can go with out blowing up.

Dont go through the trouble of building it unless you plan on dropping it in your car.

A Take it apart and and put it back together for knowledge

B Try to sell some parts off it

C Make a table

D Throw it off a bridge
