You meant "brakes" right?
No, don't paint them, save yourself the trouble.

They are going to rust regardless because they are made of cast iron. I wouldn't waste the time.
If you do insist on painting, make sure you use extreme high temperature paint, and mask off the rotor surface while you paint the hats.
Also, don't buy cross-drilled rotors. They crack more quickly than a blank rotor and serve no useful purpose other than "looking cool."

I got brembo slotted rotors up front; they are cadmium plated and never rust....as for the rears I got the auto zone specials and they rusted on day 2, i sanded the hubs on the rotors and sprayed them with flat black, cant really notice them black but i did notice them rusted. I'd say go for it. just not some clown color
paint them neon green... then paint your wheels neon orange..... get those really cool colored tires in yellow. then left half of the car pink, the top, hood, and hatch HAS to be painted purple. and the right side you can finish up with a color of your choice
Maybe this guy is using the 11" fastbrakes kit with Integra calipers. With this setup, there will be a bit of the disk that won't be used, which will rust. When i get the upgrade, i too will paint the rotors.
I think it's a good idea to paint your calipers ... if thats what we are talking about.
they do not rust and the paint won't come off if you paint it right.
Paint them before you install so they are clean... and to lots of light coats
and you should be good to go

What a retarded question.
You answered it yourself.
No paint = rust.
Paint = paint and no rust.
