if there was a recall on your car how long do you have to bring it there, as i just noticed there were 2 recalls on the 94 accord in 96 and 2001 and i have not taken it to either one. is it too late or are the obligated to do the repairs for me?

 

Your too late. both the product updates on 1994 Accords have expired.

 

I would still recommend getting the recalls done (you will have to pay for them though) because one of them is getting a clamp/brace put on the balance shaft seal. IF this backs out - your engine will **** it's oil out all over the ground.

LOL, it's called a seal retainer.

They weren't safety recalls, they were product updates. There's a difference.

 

The retainer is only like $3 from Honda if you do it yourself.

 

that's what happened to my '94 ex before it got destroyed by a yukon, 3 days before i brought it in for the recall... i saw oil all over the driveway and my parents were not too happy
