h22 teg
i found this guy who wants to see his 95 gsr with a h22 swap for 7500. its also got some bs 18 inchers. the cars got 100000 on it, and supposively the engines got 30000. is this a good deal?
Do a compression test. Make sure the motor is legit (get the papers). Take a test drive in the car and see how it feels, I had a buddy that just sold his JDM H22 prelude and that thing was going through a quart of oil a day. So, check things out before you buy the car. Get all the maintenance records that are possible to dig up and get that thing to a garage to get looked at. Also, read up on the H22 in a teg. It does something to the suspension/weight of the car, I haven't really studied up on it because I think its a pointless swap. Its heavier then a b series motor so it affects the handling/etc....
man I was thinking it would mess up the handling of the car too, but i know i guy that did it.
He said that the h22a is only like 50 lbs heavier and it handles just fine... but get more opinions because i dont know for sure.

yup.. well maybe a little heavier but yeah, and its not that pointless of a swap, cuz h series gets more tq then b series.. which is good

i went and checked it out, turns out my info was mixed up. its a 97 gsr with 150000. it looks real clean from the outside and has got a dvd and like goodies on the in. i had my friend with me who knows a lot more about hondas than me and he told me that the owner was talking like he didnt know anything about the car. the owner said he was running his stock fuel injectors on it, my guy said that was bs casue it had to be running real lean. the car was on shocks and springs but was so low that im pretty sure there was less than an inch of travel. maybe you guys can give me some insight on this, i dont know a whole lot about hondas. i appreciate all the input thus far. thanks.
