How do you take out the guage cluster? I have new guages, just need a quick reference on how to take out the cluster.

 

lot of work. have to remove the eintire one piece dash that goes around the ac and radio. its all one piece. start with taking out the center console. there are 4 screws for that. then remove the screw from the lower part of the dash near the ashtray. there are 2 screws right underneath the ac controls. you also have to pop out the ac vents with a flat screwdriver. the middle vents and the driver's side vents have to be removed. there are screws behind all 3. then you gotta take out the 2 scres under the dash at the guage closter. those are easy to see. there is another screw behind the change tray under the driver side ac vent. i think there is a screw behind the dimmer switch too, but im not that sure. you gonna have to pop out the dimmer switchto disconnect it, and pop out the ***** of the ac control, take out the radio. once you have taken the dash partially out, disconnect the plugs to the hazzards and the rear defrost. this should help you out some. the rest you gonna have to figure out cause i dont remember every screw.

 

what are you trying to accomplish by taking out your gauge cluster?

 

do i just pull out those 2 ***** straight out, i have 94 honda accord, trying to replace the bulb behind the *****... shoot mine went out and bought the bulb for $4.23 at the dealer....

please advise.
