Hi,
I put in a d15b with a y8 tranny,
and pulled this CX transmission out of my 92 cx hatch.

it was running PERFECT when pulled,
NO grinds, or noises, or trouble getting into gear, ever or at all.

Transmission has really tall gears, being the CX that it is.
if you need something for a daily driver and good gas mileage, this is it.
it got SUUUUCH good gas mileage. Driving the y8 is kinda wierd,
feels like the car is overrevving on the freeway now.

Basically the cx felt like it was off or something while cruisin at 70-90mph.

I'm in the bay area, CA

How many miles on the tranny before it was pulled?

 

150k

doesnt come with a clutch or flywheel or anything, sorry,
so the wear'n tear pieces are gone.

 

Do you still have the AC system for sale, too? If so, I'll give ya $200 for all.

how much for just the tranny?
I already said I'd give the ac system to some guy whos gonna come down from compton, but he hasnt payed or left yet or anything.. so I duno.

 

Can you find out about the A/C? Give me a day on the tranny. I have a lead on a EX one and if that falls through, I'll send you an offer.

well only thing I can say is hurry up,
cuz the guy said he wanted to come down thursday or friday
i'm pretty sure hes gonna buy it.

but I duno, I should really probly give it to the other guy tho..
he did ask first..

 

Yeah, it's good not to go back on your word. Anyway, if he doesn't pick it up on Thurs let me know and I'll take it. As for the tranny, I'll let you know as soon as I can. Thanks.
