theres extra wires on this engine harness. I cant find the 91 wire diagram anywhere.

the car WAS a 1990 DX, and i bought an 89 si interior harness, and a 91 si engine harness. both from crx's.

the major **** up is on the clip next to the injector resistor box, the shop manual lists 6 wires, theres closer to 12



ill spring for the 91 shop manual if i have to but that would really be a kick in the *** at this point.

im not running power steering or a/c. so i hope thats it, but i have no idea.

im doing a b16 swap. thanks for ANY help.

if anyone could share the (RHD) Fuel injected system diagram from a 1990 or 1991 shop manual that would save me. the 1988 one doesnt have what i need. unless its an error on my part,

thats gonna be one major pita.

ive done this before on 88 civic.

the main thing to do is make sure you have the same year interior and dash harness. and dx and si stuff do not interchange , unless you want to splice a lot of wires.

 

 

so far, it has sucked ***. since its a 1990, all interior stuff had different harnesses then the 89. and differetn locations of things. but now under the hood, in that pic, theres 12 wires, not 6. what are they for???

 

Why don't you keep following the diagrahm?? It should go all the way to a ground/power source.
