i inquired of a d16z6 head about a month ago...this was needed cause of a tapping noise that was present for about 2 months now...and now it all ends with a blown engine..... ....smoke out the hood, coolant on the pavement......this was the sight of my engines last breath.....as i sat at the shoulder of 495... was present, but a came about.....resurection is my eg's salvation.......any one with a b18 for sale?......

 

sorry to hear the bad news....but i guess, sometimes its for the better....
how about a JDM D15B SOHC VTEC....also puts out 130ps and slightly less torque...but only $250 and its yours...

yes d16y8 is close to being mine....damn all these engines swaps this are making me sick....for in total for my Snowflake project....first d15b, then b16a, few times dropped to install various small parts (toda flywheel/mugen clutch), then LSD tranny....then again 4x weeks ago d15b sohc vtec, now d16y8...whats next...can i ever be satisfied...????

 

i would go for a cheap swap to get the car up and running, but i though i should just use sum money to get my old EF back frm my mechanic, and save up for three months for a Si-G swap.....

in another topic, does anyone have a coprehensive list of what is needed for such a swap....this "?" was also posted on "HYBRID"
