usdm vs canadian gauge cluster
i just got a 92-95 civic gauge cluster from a civic with an encrypted "made in canada" sticker. I notice a little difference in design:
usdm:

canadian:

notice the red, green, and blue color tabs...usdm has it stuck on the gauge board itself, as canadian one doesn't. not like this will make a big difference in performance, but i just want to archive this. Is your USDM gauges look like any of these?
oh yes, i followed BauleyCivic and other's DIY amber gauges & amber clock and got these (they look much better in real life):
looks bright but it's more like red amber:

oops with flash...makes it look so dim:

*a little note on the amber clock. on https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=721388 guide, i used the red tab, but it looked too red for me, so i combined that red with an orange tab to make it look closer to amber.
for BauleyCivic's and other's DIY guide!
