walbro fuel pump not working
i tried installing a walbro 255 pump in my car. it doesnt seem to be pumping the fuel. it would click on but nothing would pump. i connected the ground and the positive wire on the fuel pump. is there something im suppose to do to the pump?
Hook it up right and it will work 99% of the time. Those things are damn hard to get in right, maybe you pushed a connection apart putting it in?....Also check your fuses.
no i figured out how to get it in and out easy. all the connecters are in. i can hear the pump click on when i turn the car on. i put my stock pump back in for the time being until i figure out the problem.
at work, the walbro carbs we use on the briggs and stratton motors aren't that great, plus they're built in mexico.
if you can't get it working, it may actually be bad. QA at their plants is suspect.

if you can't get it to work(ask someone else to help you get it to work first), then i would request an exchange for a new one.
