Have you thought about getting a Boomerang? They use a GSM technology which is a lot better than GPS. There are so many restrictions with GPS. If someone put foil on top of your dash before they planned on stealing it, you'd never find it.

For more information go to http://www.boomerangtracking.com

or you can ask me, I LOVE my system!

a quote from the mobile guardian website
"If your vehicle’s battery is disabled, damaged, or not functioning properly, the MobileGuardian™ unit will not work. "

when they tried to steal my civic, the first thing they did was disconnect my battery. good luck if you get that system.

take a look at DEI's GPS as well. boomerang is great if it's offered in your area

-aoib0t, who does not work for boomerang.

fcm: The beacon in the Boomerang is stronger than the regular cell signal. They also use a digital layer.

racin-type: Boomerang has a back up battery in it which prevents it from not working even if they disconnect your battery.
