Dropping in a b16 into a DA. Should be easy enough but no. The drivers side axle is too long. I can get it in and drive but the bearings hit the end of the cv end and cause it to clunk everytime a bearing comes around. It is fully compressed when installed. We're Using the original b18 axles and all original b18 mounts. What am I missing here?

 

dang.. never heard of that problem.. mine fit perfectly.. was the car originally auto? or do you got the axles mixed up? i'd get ahodl of hasport or somethign and ask them. were the axles off a hydro tranny? all bseries cable trannies are roughly the same and can use the same axles. if it works on your stock motor.. it should work on the b16. what tranny u using?
