everytime when i drive my delsol to normal operation temperature, and stop some mins in BP for some fuel, when restart again, the revs drop to 0 then stop. restart again, it wont start (i can hear the starter, something like cant pump the fuel), after some try, or wait for some more mins, it can start.

but it starts everytime when cold.

very annoy when some cars waiting for fuel behind, and i cant start my car

anyone know what's wrong with it?

sounds like short on fuel maybe. fuel pump or fuel lines?

 

next time you go somewhere and shut your car off. put the key back in and put it into the on position and you should hear something prime towards the back which is your fuel pump. if you don't hear it then more then likely it's bad.

i doubt it. if it was your IACV you would probably have idling problems. i guess you could do simple stuff like checking your fuel filter.

 

ya, i just replaced the fuel filter last week.

but when reach normal operation temperature, and N gear in waitting traffic, the revs drop to around 400~500 sometimes, is it appeared idling problems?

 

well that could be it then. have you recently drained out your coolant? it may have air bubbles in the system which will cause your car to idle weird.

 

could be the ignitor in your distributor. Clean the connections on there if they are dirty. I had the same problem when I sold my friend my 1992 GSR. Runs fine and everything. Then when I go to start it after sometime of driving it and shut it off then restart it again it dies. He cleaned the connections on the ignitor and ever since then its been aaaaokay...

 

today, I resoldered the main relay and clean the distributor.
now it is sweet
