all subs weigh different amounts...how would we know if its more than 100 or not?
your box makes all the diff too

i have a very heavy box weilding 2 12's and 2 amps and so on...

if i go to the track i take them out, easy like 30 seconds to do

have fun with the car, i had to have my stereo

plus, with the 80lb box i have...i tested my drag runs and i only lost 1/10th of a second

i pulled a 14.7 instead of 14.6 off my stock ITR

Model number and how much?

I had a pair of 10" but took it out after a week cause it was rattling...now my car rattles regardless

It was from Circuit City..payed $89 for it.It was a clearance item when I bought it
I've had many systems for Integras ad this is by far the Smoothest Sounding Bass I've heard.
I'm not into "Super Ying Yang twin Bass" chit,...I like smooth bass for the music I listen to w/ Bass drums. ie. METAL
but its perfect for weight and sound.

I got one 12" in my trunk, and i think its more than enough for a hatch back. Im only pushing 150w to it out of my jl amp, and its plenty of bass without the rattle. One 12 is the way to go

Bazooka rocks. How I managed decent bass in my Toyota truck when there was no room for subs. Cheap, light and small.

wonderful wonderful choice.

if you want to go for good sound, light, and easy to take out for track days..get an 8" l7, in a custom ported box. It will sound so good, and get a kicker amp to match....

Wow. This forum has changed a bit.

It seems to me that last year a poster was completely obliterated for raising the subject, and few regulars deigned to even discuss it.

Notice the date that he posted this?

All the ****** were off whoring and drinkin and bein merry men, so most likely they didn't even see this yet.

Me personally, I can't hear the radio any longer and especially since removing the rear speakers. To me the music in the R is hearing it all work while you drive it, Not tryin to pimp with it. Save that for the Lexi and Infiniti and whatnot.

To each his own I guess

As the car has gotten more popular and more affordable, the kinds of people buying it have changed. It devolved from hardcore track junkies and bracket racers, to street racers and part-time HPDE'rs, and now to the show-car crowd and kids who would have bought an Si when the ITR was still new.

FWIW, I have a pair of subwoofers in my R from the Civic I owned previously. They're outdated now, but they still sound the same. When they come out...the stereo sounds like crap.

Why dont you ask for a sunroof and cruise while you're at it.
