Default What class would an EDM CRX be in?

I am in Germany for the next year, and since I cant get my hatch out here, because the block is taking too long to get back, I need another car, but I am also gonna bring it back to the states with me, I just have to convert it to US specs (its funny because people spend sooooo much money doing that, when they could hit up the classifieds and do it themselves for hundreds less....gotta love H-T)

But my question is specifically about the 88-91 CRX's that are in Germany. There are alot of them with a 124 PS (how much hp is that?) and alot of them are ED9's and some say they are 1.6i and some have the ZC in there... Now my ultimate goal is to get a decent running stock CRX, that I can convert cheap and bring back to the states to autox in (but you better believe I am taking it to the 3 world class racetracks less than 1 hour from my base, nurburgring (F1), sachsenring (GP), and hockenheim (F1) ). I want it to be in H Stock, and I think all the CRX's are in H Stock correct? But it doesn't mention anything about EDM or JDM cars...and also, what class do CRX's go into when you start doing some mods? Are they allowed in STS or STX, because they are 2 seaters I am not sure, if you just have to go straight to SM2 or what...

Thanks

BTW heres a few contenders, all between 100-1000 euro (120-1200 dollars)

The car as is would fall in D-Mod. In order to run it in anything other than DM, (GS, CSP, STS2) you'd have to do a complete USDM conversion. That is anything that is different: engine (US had the 1.6 SOHC), 5mph bumpers, interior/exterior trim etc. In SM2 the engines are free but just about everything else has to be identical to a USDM car.

I believe that you can run JDM orEDM spec cars legally in SM2. The time and money it would take go back to the stock USDM motor and what ever else you need to run G-Stock(the class for CRX SI) you can put into some, coilovers,LSD,and racetires.(about 2500 buck at the most) and run SM2. It will be more than competive in your local region. Also get SiR if you can so that you can start out with a B16 instead of a ZC.
