Default H23 and F22 tranny gears interchangable?

I have a really important question that needs an answer. I want to know if the gears and syncro's are interchangeable from an h23 and f22 tranny? 2nd and 5th gears to be exact.

I just had someone pull my F22 tranny from my h22a block. I got an h23 tranny installed with a bad 2nd gear grind and a 5th gear grind.

I love the gears 1-4 on the h23's tranny but 5th is way too short for freeway driving at all IMO. The gearing would benefit me better than a regular f22 but still save gas on the freeways.

yes they will fit, but you need to realize that they are different ratios...here's a list of the different gear ratios in the two different motors...

WHAT? I had a smaller list. I didn't realized what tranny I had but thanks for the info. The setup that I said earlier should be better than just a straight f22 tranny.
