Default What do you think about this tilt sensor?

Can someone tell me if this is a good tilt sensor? I bought it with my alarm for an extra 10 bux. It looks kind of simple. Should I even bother installing it or get another, better tilt sensor? Will it give me hard time with too many false alarms? How would I install that thing if it's a good sensor? It didn't come with any instructions.

I've never seen a tilt sensor like that.... looks more like a mercury switch of some sort?!? dunno what it is...You can probably get a dei tilt sensor for under 40 bux. They usually mount somewhere near or on your firewall, and are easy to hook up.

that or a roller ball tilt switch. the only problem is if you park on an incline it might trick the alarm into thinking the car is tilted. The best one to go with is the DEI digital tilt sensor, since it can learn how the car was parked and figure out from there if it's tilting

Yeah, thanks guys, that's what I was thinking - it's a shitty, cheap 10 buck sensor. Will look for another one then.

And another question, is there such thing as a keyless bypass module? Cause the one I have right now needs a key and I was thinking may be I can get one without the key?? If they exist, how much do they sell for?
