Will my tanabe medallion exhaust from my 88 crx work on my 91 hatch
I have tanabe medallion catback exhaust on my 88 crx si. I just got a 91 civic hatch si. The crx is just running the piping with no cat, and the civic has the stock pipes with a cat. Can I swap the exhaust to my civic. The actual can(tanabe) sticks out a bit on the crx. Some people told me it should fit just right since the civic is longer, but some said it won't work. So will this work or would it call for modification?
an exhaust shop can extend the front part of the b-pipe (that hooks up to the cat) to make your CRX exhaust work on a EF hatch.

I thought it was the sedan was longer than the CRX/HB exhaust...?

i was shipped a crx exhaust when i ordered my hatch exhaust, i had to extend the midpipe about 5 inches or so, no big deal. pay a shop to do it or do it your self, i extended it right where it bends near the rear of the car, just cut it right before the bend, then extended it.
