b16a, Injector mix 'n match question
Well I have a JDM sir II b16a (obd2).
I have a 1989 civic hatch, and now that the motor is IN, I'm starting to do the wiring.
Now I have come to an interesting turning point. I want to use the obd2 injectors that came with the b16... now in order to do this I figured I could fairly easily splice the obd2 b16 injector clips off the harness that came over w/ the motor onto my 89 harness. they are 2 wire a peice and marked neg/pos. Will I find any trouble in trying this. (ie: is it worth my time) or will I run into problems somehow? (dam tricky honda)
If anyone has a concrete answer for this, or any other work-arounds It would be much appreciated.

well, I would need to carve the part that plugs in. the 0bd0 injector has notched corners at the top. the sir II injector is just rounded off.
I wish I had a pic...

I spliced obd1 injector clips into my obd0 harness...Actually I made my own injector harness but I don't think you will run into any problems.
you cant do this, simpley because your ECU runs peak and hold injectors and the obd2b ones are saturated, so even if u get the clips adapted and connect the injectors will eventually fry out...
