does anyone happrn to knoe what the stroke of the b17 is, like the stroke of the b18c is 87.2 and the b16a is 77 does anyone have any info on what the stroke is for the old school gsr motor.

ah a perfectly square motor better than a b16. thanks for the info i have a freind that has aquired one nad is dropping it into a 91 rex, should be interesting, anyways thanks again.

 

Its a great motor. Put in some angry cams and it's even more fun.

 

great fun!! enjoy the high revs and reliability!!! are you going to rebuild it? its a great setup if you use some hi comp pistons, like p30's or CTRs. and at least some ITR cams. stock its kinda weak with the 9.6-9.7 CR ratio though

 

yeah i think hes got some p30 out of another freinds b16 and hes got some itr cams from jhp, head has a 3 angle valve job and he has a jdm4-1 header and skunk2 im with a si throttle body, should make pretty decent power, hes looking for a cable tranny with the lsd i think out of the sirs its like a ys1 or something he said i dont know too much about tranny codes, anyways he just wants a good strong motor to play with.
