Door Cap Q's
Car : 91 CRX Si
Problem : My door caps don't seem to match my sideskirts, infact neither the door caps nor the sideskirts seem to line up very well. The kit was put on by the previous owner of my car and they did a horrible job. I managed to fit the front and rear bumpers great, but the sideskirts and door caps are just impossible since its some knock off of the WW Mugen kit. It's polyeurothane(Sp?) so I was gonna just shave them up but I dont see that being able to fix 'em. The door caps sit about 1" over the sideskirts and about a 1/4" gap is on either side of the door cap. The sideskirts can't be pulled all the way up to cover the old gutters because then they hit the bottoms of the doors. Is it worth it to try to shape those POS's, or would I be better off buying a better fitment sideskirt/doorcap combo? I was trying to keep the cash spent on those under $200, but I'll go more if its worth it. If not, I'll just buy the OEM pieces and go sleeper(My preference, but who turns down a free kit?
) TIA for any replies. - Darrell
~Ps, pics I have of the car are huge, so AIM me if you want pics.
