What kinna car do you have? I did an auto to manual conversion on my wifes car and we just chose not to do the reverse light thing. But the main plug where the "auto" shifter went, you have to find the correct wires to connect to turn the reverse lights on and put them to a switch. You also have to jump two of the wires to put the car into "Park" to make the car start.... I'll try and find some pics for ya....

i did my auto to manual conversion on my car and havent wired it yet. Im guessing that by taking and extra plug for the reverse lights and hook it up to the auto shifter where the reverse lights go should work. i need to try it still.

i rilly dont want to put it on a switch but the funney thing was i had bought the car and one day i couldn't get the key out and it was cause insted of jumping the wires they got a screw to hold the thing in park so I was stuck for like 20 min trying to figure out what was wrong

I guess i rilly dont need rev lights but it sure helps cause some people will just be dumb and sit their when im 2 inch away from them trying to reverse cause they cant see my rev lights

You can make the switch small and hidden if you want... Do you know what plug i'm talking about?
