ef/crx stories of driving in the rain. WITH NO AC!
bi've had my a/c ganked for about a year now and everytime it rains and i have to drive its a nightmare. foggy windows, hot as ****, weT!
i usally crank the climate control all the way cold and crank it up on defrost and crack my sunroof just in the back so all the hot air goes out, i sometimes crack my window but usally get soaked!
anyways i almost rain off the raod last night because i couldn't see and there was a car comming blionding me....
but its all good. nothing happened!
to all my fellow ef/crx peeps who drive with out a/c

i just open my back windows, open the passenger window, and crank to cold on defrost i also open the vent next to me to let fresh air in
it works and i dont get wet
i think the having the back windows open is what helps the most but crx's cant do that so your screwed

Well I once had to take my shirt off and reveal my man ***** just so I could get the fog off the windshield. Nothin like the si seat against your bare back....j/k.
W/azenis though, I try to not drive in the rain, especially on the hwy. Usually when it's rainin, it's a max speed of 65 ish if the water isn't drained off the road.
Blower motor works when it wants to so imagine it w/out anything blowin at all.

Go buy 2 of those black deflector things for the fornt windows, they stick on and roll about an inch over the window and down about 2 inches
You can crack your window and not get wet and cuts a lot of wind noise out when its cracked
Mine were stolen

It's not that great. Keeping the windows clean worked better for me.

I never had any problems with my Civic. Just turn on the defroster and it would defrost the wind sheild and part of the front side windows. Use the electric defroster for the rear. The rear side windows I couldn't see **** out of but who needs them.

yeah, im in florida, hot and rainy all summer, it sucks pretty bad..i have tried the fog x, but doesnt work as well as i thought, it rained yesterday and i had nothing to wipe the windshied with, so i figured i would use my had cuz its ironically quite soft, so as im wiping the windshied its just smearing and making the windshied all greasy from the sweaty had and fogging up more and just making my life totally miserable, by the time i got home i was sitting as far to the right as i could and leaning over into the passenger side of the car top see out of a fist sized clear spot on the windshield....really sucks...my defroster doesnt work because im in the process of swapping in a different ac controller so i dont have the unit in the car right now....i hate florida........
your problem is that you have a leak in your car, allowing some water
to pool inside. probably your hatch. could from a number common leak
sources.
when theres any amount of water inside the cabin, it raises the
humidity inside, which is why the windows fog up and is difficult to
defrost.
find and fix your leak problem and you wont have to hassle with so
much fog inside when it rains.
