I'm on my way to completing my parts list for MPFI swap in my LX sedan, and I have a HF Throttle Cable. There are four different throttle cables available to my knowledge looking at part numbers -

EX - 91241
LX/DX - 86675
SI - 86677
HF - 86676

Is it the same length as the SI throttle cable that way I do not run into any problems dropping it in.

im sure the prices cant be too different between hf and Si

 

I know the SI Cable will work also, and the prices aren't that much different: $3-5 at most. I do have a HF cable in hand and I want to know if it is the same thing as the SI cable; you would think since both cars were MPFI.

 

i would think the length could only be off by a little
because of the bracket on the manifold
only one way to find out

 

HF and Si throttle cables are different. I had to swap out my hf cable in favor of an si cable when I did my b-series swap.

 

Damn, thanks for the heads up. Until I can get my paws on a SI one it will be LX messiness for me.
