I remember a few years back, seeing a drag CRX w/ a 6G72 (3000GT) engine in it, running rear wheel drive for drag racing. I told the story to a friend, who thinks I'm full of bull.. I may be full of $h!7, but not bull.. i know I saw this car, but can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help me, maybe have pictures or a website w/ specs n' stuff on it? Thanks

 

It was a crx body with the 4g63 engine out of the talon/eclipse line running rwd. I remember seeing it run at maple grove raceway a few years back. The car was really quick but it never really fit into a class and thus I haven't seen it in awhile. Sorry I don't have any pics or specs but with a little effort you should be able to find some info on it.

Was it the Simon CRX? All I remember was, when the car did burnouts, you can see the chassis tweaking so bad.. But it was a really fast car. I just remember seeing it on the speed channel one time, besides some magazine that I'm trying to look for right now. (you try searching through 2 yrs worth of magazine subscriptions for a small picture of it=X) heheh anyone w/ pix?
