Default New valve springs, retainers, and valves that REV TO 11000, safe? what do you think?

I see the kits on e-bay for valve springs retainers and valves that are safe to 11000 rpms. My question is what else would you need to go to 11,000 rpms? It really doesn't sound too good for the engine. I assume you would want new cams at least. Let me know what you think.

You need cams that make power past 8,200 to go along with that..
Thats just to start.

Like droppedcrxsi mentioned, aftermarket cams would be needed to realize good power after around 8,200rpm plus you would need to reprogram your ecu for the higher rpm, and i would consider doing a set of better rods and rod bolts so not to throw one which i've seen happen before.

Basically rebuild your whole engine, and up the compression (a lot) if you really want to rev that high.

about that kit, I would be skeptical if it is not a known and trusted company.

You're going to run a relatively stock B20 short block to 11k?
Is this just a ONE TIME thing or are you planning to do this often?

I don't plan on driving around town at 11k if thats what you mean. But if you are planning on knocking the B20 then you can stop now cause I've heard it all before. Everyone thinks the B20 is weak because of it's "siamese sleeve" design, but that is untrue. I am not running boost, so new bearings and a good honing will be sufficient. Plus the motor had about 9k on it when I got it.
