Default 1st time installing a alarm?

how hard wuould it be to install a alarm in my car with it completely gutted. i wanna try and install after i get my paint job done and before i put everything back in.
when i say gutted i mean gutted.

what alarm is this? read the directions and see what wires you can run.

amazingly i have alot of free time! have a gf and a full time job.

im looking at getting the compustar. whats a good online place to get it? should it be difficlult to install?

Look on ebay After researching, I found that I probably need only about 15 wires to connect the alarm (not including 3 sensors and a bypass).

Hard as hell, as I don't see a oem wire harness, now is a good time ,[or as you reinstall oem harness] to run wiring for stereo or wires that may be needed for alarm options, 95% or more of the alarm wiring is done on the drivers side under dash, even trunk/hatch [ use trunk/hatch ajar ] one 12ga wire will be needed from driver underdash to trunk/hatch latch if you are doing power T/H pop, if you are doing some kind of window mod,[ dei 530t] you will need to run some wires into drivers door, and you will need to run 3 wires into engine bay.

hope this helps, but I think there are other things you need to do before you start on the alarm lol . 94
