Default Coming to a stop

Sorry about this newbie question, but what rpm should you disengage the clutch when you come to a stop?
Will disengage the clutch at too high rpm or too low rpm incure stress on the engine or transmission?
thanks in advance

dont really matter, if you are clutch breaking then about 1200rpm, otherwise it is up to you, most type r drivers like to hear the high revs so I imagine you will do the same. you can bring it down to 900 and then press clutch this will almost stop the car totally, do you wish to save the breaks???

thx for your reply!
I was wondering that becuase when I disengage the clutch at like 2000 rpm, the rpm will drop to a very low rpm (like 400 on the tach?) then come back up to 600-700 (normal). If I disengage too late (like 900rpm), the engine will start to bog. That's why I want to know will these 2 situation hurt the engine. Your answer definitely makes me feel better.
One more newbie question, if the engine bog due to not disengage clutch when at low rpm (not low to a point the engine dies though), is it bad to the engine or tran.?
