Help with Alpine V-Drive
I am about to get an Alpine CDA-9833 and it has the V-Drive amplifier built in (I chose this so i don't have to get a seperrate amplifier).
I want to run a set of Alpine type-r components in my car, will the 26watts rms be enough to power them pretty well?
Or should i hook the woofers up to one channel each and the tweeters up to another channel each?

the alpine v-drive is pretty good. if you were to run it off the deck, you'd wire the speaker-level outputs to the alpine crossover supplied with the speakers.
or you can just run the alpine rcas to an amp. from the amp to the alpine crossover. USE THE ALPINE CROSSOVER.
the only comment is that the alpine crossover heats up really quick, keep it somewhere to cool down.

</TD></TR></TABLE> 26 watts will power the type -r speakers, but just barely, you realy need an amp for the type-r components, if you don't want an amp, I would look for a speaker that will work better with only 26 watts.
hope this helps
