Reputable cage builders in your area...post 'em here
There seems to be a continued need to put people in contact with cage builders in various regions throughout the country. I figure it might be helpful if people could post information in a single thread about reputable builders who are familiar with the more popular (SCCA, NASA/HC, etc) road racing organization rules who do quality work. Post your region as well as any contact info you may have. I hope this becomes a useful resource. I'll post some AZ info later when I get the actual contact info.

Alot of the emails I have been receiving ask me what I do at my shop, so I thought I would put up a short list of services and let people know our exact location.
I hope this accomplishes a couple things:
1) let's racers know where I am located
2)saves me some time from common email questions.
I hope this is not looked upon as advertising, that is not my intention. It seems there are alot of people who are close to me geographicly but don't know I exist for some reason.
I am located in Medina, Ohio. Which is 30 miles south of Cleveland and 20 minutes west of Akron.
Most of my customers are comming to me for custom roll cages. (any make/model)
As for the Honda/Acura services, I cover everything but street/show bling.
This includes: I.T. / HC engines, LSD's (Quaife), FDR's (ring and pinions),
plus all the normal stuff: Hawk pads, Rota Wheels, brake lines, suspensions, seats, window nets, brake ducts and any custom engineering (guage pods, etc.)
Windshields (glass), motor swaps (we are an importer), custom race exhausts.
Plus we provide trackside race support, and corner weighting plus dyno tunning on a dynojet 248C.
I hate to post for myself, it feels all wrong, but the emails I get just take up so much time and guys are always asking the same questions, my website is being redesigned at the current moment, otherwise I would post a link for this information.
I opened Street N Track in 1999 after crewing in I.T. from 95-99. I won scca regional championships in ITA in 95,96, & 97 with 2 different drivers, plus the ARRC title in ITA in 1996. All the titles were won in a CRX Si. (There has been some question as to my background.) I won my 2003 championship in H4 in a crx as well.
I hope this clears up some speculation and allows a few of you to know that there is a dealer in NE Ohio that can help you.
A list of customers is available for your reference upon request.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Kirk Racing in Birmingham, AL did my cage and I'm well pleased with the results.
Competition Cages in Hillsborough, as others have mentioned, does great work and is reasonably priced. Krause and England (http://www.krauseandengland.com/) is here in Raleigh as well and does some top quality work.
Dear Reader, whoever you end up getting your cage or rollbar done by, make SURE they know what they're doing and make DAMN SURE they know what's legal and what isn't. Hate to see people spend $2K+ on a custom cage only to find that it's illegal as hell.

A second
for Chris Stiffler at Street-N-Track Autosports in Medina, OH. For anyone in the CenDiv, NEDiv, and Midwest Honda Challenge area, he is the guy to call for your cage work. Top quality, meets deadlines and exceeds customer expectations. And he has a 2003 MWHC Championship to add to his resume.

I have a Delta Group custom rollbar in my 944S that I absolutely love and am in process of getting a tremendous looking CRX cage right now from Walt. So stupidly stoked about this, I think I should seriously enter it into a car show before its first race cause I am sure its the only time the outside will look perfect. I have seen a sample of Walt's cage-work (VW Golf IIRC) after three sukaharas through the infield at Kershaw and despite an old design, it was absolutely in tact and the driver was ok (and IIRC commisioned Delta Group for the next car).
On a similar note, I balled up ole CRX v.1 with a Blake Merideth (bamcrxgp) cage in it and gotta thank Blake huge for the great job he did on HIS FIRST ever cage (as I was very well protected inside and was enjoying lunch with friends 45 minutes later).
I have also seen one of Sam Lockwood's cages (almost positive it was his work) after a very morbid looking flip at RRR and the cockpit and driver came out A-OK.
Basically, I have seen these three after some horrific looking stuff (unfortunately was real up close for one of them
) and they all stand the test of a massive impact. Many thumbs up.

I'm going to post the opposite. Do NOT go to Race Ready Technologies outside of Philly. They did a terrible job, took over two months to get it finished since every other car in the shop got a higher priority, despite their promised one week turn around time, and then tried to charge me triple the estimate. It got so bad that I had to threaten legal action to get them to waive my responsibility to pay more than 33% above their original estimate. They also managed to screw up my air/heating controls, broke the wiper switch, messed up the headlight wiring, cut through the VIN plate, and didn't re-install the dash right because he put the cross brace too far forward. The place sucks.

Those welds/notching are horrible...Next time just bring your car to Ronnie Obrien in Toronto probaly cost the same and the quality is 10x better.

Those are the last welds I would expect from Trac....they are horrible....looks like fluxcore.
I can tell they did NOT notch those tubes properly as that is why those welds are so messy as they are trying to fill the spaces from the bad notching with weld.
They could have made the rear shock tower tubes notched and join into one point but they put the tubes where ever was easiest....absolutely no effort was put into this cage.
Again this is the LAST cage I would expect to see from such a established place.
At least your silver paint looks good.
