TDC on Z6 head
Sup peeps, Im doin a mini-me swap on a 90 civic HB Si, I have a d16z6 cyl head and was trying to set it at TDC when putting it on the block, I dont have a 92-95 manual, but I was wondering if the 3 Lines on the cam sprocket were for alignment and just line the lines up on the sprocket with the wierd numbers on the side of the head??? I think this is right but I wanted to make sure befor I get things bolted down.
When under the car, looking up @ the bottom of the crank pulley with the 3 lines facing directly at you look at the notch in the cam cover between the crank pulley and the block. There's a notch as long as a penny and about 2 pennys wide. Line the 3 lines in the dead center and that should put you @ TDC. - Darrell
ps - the single line is 16 degree's BTDC I believe.

ok Im a bit lost, I can only set In line "the smaller one at the notch", the other two are horizantal lines that I lined up with the arrows or triangles on the head, also I noticed there are numbers on the side like p22, p??, p38. etc??? whats these for? also I think I got it right cause the letters "TOP" on the cam is right side up.
