Give yourself a hand. Besides, you already stated in your other mostly ignored post that you were looking for the swap.

it means search for info. no one wants to reply to your questions since its already been covered before. so click on that link and search for whatever you have questoins on. THEN afterwards if you cant find an answer, then post. dont post before you search b/c people get irritated saying things over and over and over and over

If a 5spd swap is done right then why would it cause problems... it would be like a regular 5spd lude and theres nothing abnormally wrong with those.

I have a 99 lude with the tiptronic crap .. im wanting to swap it over to the manual 5 speed .. it seems kind of complex but my real question is where can i find a tranny online for sale ... but also .. would the tranny of an h23 bolt on?? I know the gearing ratio is alittle off but if it could work then i think it'd give the h22a4 a little more juice. I've looked on hmotors.com .. and my local honda dealership wants an *** load for the tranny so if i could get some help on this topic it'd be awesome and greatly appreicated.

h23 tranny's bolt right up

your acceleration speed is going to be greatly affected by what gear ratios you have in your transmission so if your going to spend the money and do it do it right get at least a usdm h22 tranny.

1) to change auto->manual its around 2k for everything

2) just tranny, right now ur lookin $500 for m2a4 (h22a non-lsd), $1000 m2b4 (h22a lsd), u can get the m2a4 from hmotors, i think he has a few, good luck finding a m2b4 without having to buy a complete h22 swap

3) yes h23 tranny will work, and so will most f series (accord) trannies

4) if done properly, a swap will work just as well as if it came from the factory that way, however, why spend $2000 to do it when u can sell ur car, and buy a manual for around the same price/cheaper and not fork out $2000....

5) your welcome for saving yourself the trouble of searching, but SEARCH NEXT TIME
