I've searched around on the DIY door panel insert but I didnt really find anything on taking off the rivits....Do I just do it with a drill or what???

 

I did mine with adrill and ended up drilling through the whole panel. Try using a soldering iron and just melt the plastic rivit head off. Thats prolly the best thing to do.

 

Just did it with a soldering iron....Came off easy but it took some time...Ill go buy some fabric tommorow and post up some pics whem Im done..

how do you put the panels back together? is there a place you can buy the plastic rivits? or is there another way to hold them together? i havent taken my panels apart yet but i have been wanting to do this also just not sure how to put them together again.
