Clutches for ITR
For starters, I did actually check the search feature. And ended up reading 2 hours of useless info. Please don't be jerks, I have a simple question and would like a simple answer.
My ITR has 41K, and finally determine that the clutch is slipping and have to replace it, but have no idea what clutches are good and bad. Any recommendations.
Thank you in advance

The stock clutch sucks.
Go back and read some more, there are tons of good threads on this issue. I'd go with the ACT XTSS and the lightest flywheel I could find.

It wasn't just one thread, It was a few. But most of them actually just talked about one in specific and started to branch off topic. Nothing really in dept and contrasting. I was thinking that my stock ones were good, but keep hearing that others are better for launch and torque. I don't mine spending reasonable money on my car, but would want to make just one purchase. How about "clutchmasters"

I'm currently looking for a clutch to purchase too and I did about 2-3 hours of research the other day and came to the conclusion that while many hate exedy and many stand by them as the best clutch ever to come out of japan, I'm going with exedy because of the price, and because my parts guy has them in stock. A lot of people seem to like ACT.
I'm planning on going with an exedy stage 1 w fidanza 7.5lbs flywheel.
Do more research if your still unsure about which company to go with. You haven't read or searched hard enough because theres alot of info out there.

Dont have to abuse the car to drive it hard
RJ - with the original clutch @ 70K

If you want close to stock pedal pressure go for the ACT HDSS setup
If you want something heavy duty go for the ACT XTSS setup.
An ACT Prolite flywheel will be a nice upgrade too!
BTW What do you use your R for ?

Its my daily driver and I'm always driving the car the way it was meant to be driven. (if you know what I mean) So I'm not a slow driver or insanely stupid, just like to be reminded how my car performs. Is it true that a flywheel sacrifices low end torque?
