Hi guys, im painting my value cover now. but when i unscrew all the bolts(8) and take the oil cap,spark plugs and two hoses off, but i cant take my valve cover off.
it seems hold there very very tight.
any of u guys had the same problem? what i can do?

I am sure that you looked it all over to see if you left any remaining screws. Also, be sure to double-check in the sparkplug housing area for screws.

After you have re-verified that all screws are out, you might try beating the sides of it with a rubber mallet to loosen it up. It should lift right off once it is loose.

 

Stick a flat-head screw driver between cover and head and twist...prying cover off (carefully!!)

 

thre is little thing comeout from valve cover..driver side..pull it out from there..btw u have carbon fiber trunk?? can u show me some pic of ur car??
