Thanks. I think remember you from Superhonda or something. When you first got the swap info from GMAC, if you are the same Big James. Now I see you really have a nice setup. I will be getting there soon as the winter comes and goes over here...
That would probably be me. I was known as Big James on almost every Honda message board. Thanks for the compliment.
As for your question to the pics in your sig, when you build your sig, just click on the Image button below your sig, and then put the URL in between the two [] []. Just like you do normally.

Yeah I did it like normal, however everytime I press save the whole web address disappears. And come to think of it I dont remember seeing anyone else with a pic in their sig?? Or maybe the board just doesnt like me as yet.
When are you putting in the turbo, or are you still undecided??

no pics in sigs, makes the site to cluttered and takes long to download a thread
As for the turbo, I had to spend some of the money I had saved for the other needed parts on a new tranny. Now with Christmas I have put it on hold a little longer. Hopefully it will be on in February. That should be a reasonable date for me. For now, it just sits on the floor of my bedroom and collects dust.
sup sup boyeeeeeeeeees

Thanks for the compliment Sloaccord.
And yeah I was reading some of the FI threads early this morning. There is alot of information in there and since I will probably head in that direction in a few years its always good to get the research down from now and start learning as much as possible.

hehe, welcome Jason... i see you too have defected over from HondaSociety (AccordClub)...
as for FI, your Spec S motor may not be the best to turbo due to the extremely high CR... turboing is going to require some careful planning...

Honestly, all I know about it is that it is a T3/T04E. I got it from a friend who bought it and never used it. Got it and the FMIC for $700.
hehe Well not really defecting, but I am realizing that it is becoming a tad to boring over there in all forums so its always good to be able to switch every now and again.
And as for my motor, I know that high compression is not ideal for any turbo application, but it has been done before with motors with even higher compression that 11:1. But you are right about it being planned out properly. That added with the expense of it all is more than enough reasons for me not to rush anything at all.

Yeah I am thinking of that, but then I might just want to either turbo or supercharge later next year so I am trying to hold off on those types of mods until I really make up my mind. I know that the JRSC wont fit but I am currently doing research on some others to see what is up.
Nah havent done any track time nor dyno time yet. I hope to get this done sometime early next year or later this year if the weather permits. I am in NYC now but Maryland isnt all that far, maybe one of these days I will make a drive out there and see what you guys are working with.
As for the swap. Total cost $5200, which includes motor shipped with all parts including axles and even the gauge cluster from New Zealand, new power steering hose, lightened flywheel, MSD install, and labor.

I do have a question for you though 4doorh22 since your setup is similar to my own. One issue I am having now is intermitanly I am getting some sort of cuttoff when reving to 7,700 rpms in some gears. Once I was going upstate and was trying to test the engines abilities and would hit the same cuttoff at 120 mph and at 6,500 Rpms. I know that is very weird and I am still trying to figure it out myself.
I am using a p13 JDM Ecu and it a LSD tranny.
