Starting idle problems
Hey,
I tried searching for this problem on the forum but couldn't find any info so I'd thought I'd ask you knowledgeable guys. It's a problem during start up when the car is cold. It's been occuring for about 3 months now. Basically what's happening is when I fire it up, the rpms shoot up to 2 grand then fluxuates back down to 1.5 grand and back and forth for about 2-3 minutes. I've already done basic maintenece (fuel filter, o2, spark plugs, wires, dis cap/rotor). I'm not sure what else I can do. Please help!
Thanks,

I have the EXACT same problem.
After it warms up, it is fine with rough idling b/c i have a code 41 (o2 sensor)..not a problem getting that to work there.
Bump for help for you and me

recently ive been having the same problems with my idle and codes 6,7 and 10 but i found out that they all share one of the same wires... i looked at the wire and it was loose.
i fixed that but its still acting up just without engine codes. spraying the entire im(the valves too: iacv, fitv, pcv) with carb cleaner really helped too(also, seafoam=
). i think its my fitv so im going to look at that.
judging by the symptoms you mentioned this could be a helpful link: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=558236

I've had the same problem it bugged the **** out of me. Because after a new fast idle and o2 sensor it still idled up and down. Finally found out that the gasket on the throttle body had worn out and had a vacuum leak. Check for vacuum leaks.
