Cost for engine swap?
I have done some reading on this forum, lots of great stuff thx to all who post.
I am interested in swapping an H22a from a prelude into 91 Accord ex. It seems to be a fairly popular swap, any advice? and how much can I expect it to cost labour and all? I dont need exact numbers just a range would be nice. Thx

COMPLETE SWAP?
In NY, about 3500 to just drop it off and have them do it. That is the cheapest I find at any shops worth their salt.
Good luck. And to everyone who says do it yourself because it is real easy, get real. It is a pain in the *** to get it all together and running perfectly throwing no codes. Anyone who says otherwise is full of it. Given the choice, I would go to a good shop every time. And watch. And learn.

ONce I bought my enitre H22 swap 2 yrs ago and all the related parts needed (water pump, timing belt, plugs, cap, rotor, etc....), the install cost me $800.
