Synchromesh Trans Fluid
I'm bored so Im going to change my trans fluid. I have heard great things about GM synchromesh, however i was curious if Penzoil Synchromesh is basically the same ****? Does it matter as long as its synchromesh?
Yes, both the Pennzoil and AC Delco versions are virtually the same as the GM fluid. The only real difference is that the GM is more expensive and often more difficult to find than either of the others.
Not sure about the Penzoil but there is 2 different style of GM Synchromesh. Make sure you get the one with friction modifier in it if your going to use the GM stuff, part#12377916.

I guess your asking about the GM since I don't know anything about Penzoil products. They are both synchromesh fluid but one has fricition modifier, it'll help if you ever have synchronizer problems.
