hey eveyone. i was thinking about this earlier today, and i decided to find out if a 99-00 style bumper would fit on my 97 lx. it looks like the headlights are more pointed near the grille on the 99-00. i was going for the more subtle front bumper with a nice lip instead of a crappy ricer body kit. any help is appreciated.

 

as long as you have the hood, fenders, lights, bumper it should fit. not sure on crush bar and foam.

 

I don't know about the front bumper, but the rear bumper fits w/o a problem. My mother's 97 lx has one from the 99-00 facelift generation

 

The bumper alone will not fit. The headlight shape of the 1999-00 Civic prevent the swap from being completely possible without swapping the other front end parts. The headlight shape affects the hood, bumper, fenders, as well as the grille. Unless there is going to be some cutting involved the bumper will not mount up properly.

same thing applys for 96-97 ek and 98-00 ek right? the lights are slightly different? therefor the bumpers fenders etc?
