h23a1 tranny have syncros?
WHAT! hes ******* retarted,
every honda tranny i know of has sycros other wise it would grind going into every gear,
the synco is what makes the shift smoth , it sychronizes the two mating gears, and last time i drove an h23 around GOD DAMN IT SHIFFTED SMOOTH.

Thats pretty funny whoever yold you that, but double clutching doesnt take that much extra effort after a while I double clutch almost every shift now out of habbit anyway, Be synchro-friendly

synchro friendly but I don't know how clutch friendly that would be
long term anyway. I just double shift 2nd to 4th when i'm putting around town.
Only time I double clutch it is 4th to 5th when i'm high in the rpm band
Damn 5th gear synchro

double clutching is:
say your in 3rd gear and want to go into 4th. you push the clutch in and take it out of 3rd and release the clutch. then push the clutch in again to put it into 4th then release it.

yeah, I tried it today. when downshifting 2-1 and I thought you did it so that you wouldnt kinda jump forward.
but I dont think I did it right cuz I reved it then put it into 1st and it just jumped even more
Not quite sure what i did wrong.

You can do this alot more easily by just pulling the shifter out of gear right when you let off the gas it should slide out of gear very easily, and then you push the clutch in and put it in the gear of your choice

that always F's with my head to do it that way
but it still goes in super smooth if I double pump the clutch
and then shift

try rev matching in a higher gear
say your on the highway and you need a quick burst of power.
you're at 3000rpm in 5th. push in the clutch and put it in neutral.
with the clutch in, put it in 4th and rev it to around 5000rpm and let
the clutch out smoothly but not too slow or you'll just be burning the clutch
cliffs: rev match when downshifting
unless you're downshifting to assist braking
