My car has a big vibration issues. So far I have changed my axles and my drivers side motor mount. My DS motor mount snapped in two and I felt some vibration (the same as I feel right now) so I replaced it. Now my problem has given me a big headache. I cant stand driving the car. It vibrates violentley like the motor is about to fall out. I tightend up my DS motor mount because I thought it was lose and that was causing the problem. I checked my drivers side mount and my tranny mount the only one I havent checked is the other mount because I havent got a chance to lift up the car. One question for you guys do you guys believe that if that mount is busted (the one I havent checked) do you believe my engine could shake violentley . Even when I start my car up it jumps back and forth I know this because I asked my brother to start the car and I wa like WTF is wrong with my car.

it only moves violentley when I start the car. When I pull on the throttle cable it moves about 1 - 1 1/2 inches back it dosent look as violent. But when I start the car that think flops around like crazy.
Have you checked out your rear motor mount? If its torn up or the bolts are not tight, your motor will raise hell.
yes, its probably your rear motor mount
i had this problem in my crx and my motor would rock. luckily i had a front upper strut bar to prevent my motor from going through my hood. it was the rear motor mount that broke in half cause of hard shifting and a 4 puck clutch
on me

I think I found the culprit. I checked the mount and couldnt see any tears or anything BUT.... When I pulled the throttle cable even a bit it looked like that motor mount wasent helping at all. It flexed down alot. My friend has a SI also and called him over to check it out and his did not flex at all it would move a little but not as much as mine.
Its the rear motor mount, I broke mine 3 times, and kept rewelding them till I replaced it. When it broke the motor would jerk foward bad, and when driving, I would let off the gas and could hear a loud clank noise. Just buy some good hasport mounts
