This car has 248,000 miles on it (the odometer says). It has the H23A1 engine in it, and it sounds and runs VERY well. Air conditioning works perfect, paint looks great, underneath looks dirty but that's to be expected from a car with almost 250k miles on it. The four-wheel steering works, as well.

My big emergency is this:

How much would it cost to get an H22 VTEC engine w/turbo installed (estimate)? And also, I'm buying this car for a maximum of $3950 but want to talk the guy down to around $3,000. The Kelly Blue Book price on it was $5,500 roughly as of today. I ran the VIN and nothing came up, apparently it has only had two owners and most of the miles have been highway.

Holy COW!! That si pretty expensive for a car with that many miles. I picked up my 1992 4WS with 156K miles for $1800. It needed some work but nothing additional to what I was expecting to change out anyway.

I would save your $4,000 and buy a 92 S... then swap an h22 into that. 250K miles is a lot of miles.

That blue book price is way off. If a 92 si with 250K miles is worth 5,500 then my 92 S with 95K miles is worth 10,000.
